The Charities File
https://thecharitiesfile.ca/Training and resources to complete the T3010A, a joint project of the Canadian Federation of Voluntary Sector Networks and the Centre for Voluntary Sector Research and Development, funded by the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) to build the capacity of charitiable organizations across Canada. The Charities File is designed to build the capacity of charitable organizations across Canada, by:
• Increasing awareness among charities about annual compliance requirements of the Government of Canada;
• Providing training on how to complete and submit accurate information returns, on time;

This annotated return has been developed to aid your organization in successfully fulfilling its obligation under the Income Tax Act to file an information return each year, no later than six month after the end of your fiscal period.
Canadian Association for the Deaf
Compliance in the Disability Charity Sector – www.cad.ca/en/projects/cra/The Canadian Association of the Deaf (CAD) is leading a new initiative designed to help disability-sector organizations meet tax requirements more effectively. The project, called Compliance in the Disability Charity Sector, will operate from December 1, 2007 to March 31, 2010. The goal of this project is to contact more than one hundred existing or aspiring charities across Canada and provide them with tools and presentations to help them work through tax and compliance issues. This project was created to serve charities that serve the needs of persons with disabilities. The presentations are offered free of charge.

Charity Law Education Project – http://www.ccic.ca/resources/archives_charity_law_e.phpThe Charity Law Education Project was developed in the context of a two-year agreement implemented by the Canadian Council for International Co-operation (CCIC) with financial support from the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA). The goal of the project is to assist Canadian international development charities with overseas activities, by enhancing their capacity to increase compliance with Income Tax Act requirements.
